Nine Local Auto Repair Facilities Raise
Over $18,000 to Benefit Berea Children's Home and Family Services!
June 2010 - Berea,
Ohio –
During the month of May, nine local auto repair facilities in the
Great Lakes Auto Leader Dealership Group
serving Cuyahoga and Summit Counties, offered free brakes, pads or shoes
with any brake repair service, and donated 10% of their proceeds to
Berea Children's Home and Family Services.
The
Great Lakes Auto Leader Dealership Group, who,
in conjunction with
Advanced Auto Group and Luna Marketing, raised over
$18,000 for Berea Children's Home and
Family Services, a non-profit, social service agency that provides
mental health, behavioral health and community transformation services
statewide. Annually, the organization serves over 10,000 children,
adults, and families, 90% of which live below the poverty level.
“We
chose Berea Children's Home and Family Services because they serve
families in all of our communities,” said Mike McGroarty, owner of
Nordonia Goodyear Tire & Service. “We embrace the agency's emphasis
on teaching life skills to their clients and believe that our donations
will last a lifetime in the lives of the children and families that will
receive services through the agency. Our group is very conscious of the
economic hardships people are facing in our own backyards and we want to
do anything we can to help.”

the month of November Nordonia Goodyear offered free brake pads or shoes
with any brake repair service and donated part of the proceeds to The
Emergency Assistance Center.

who in conjunction with their great customers raised over $350.00 for
The Emergency Assistance Center. The Emergency Assistance Center's
mission is to provide emergency food assistance, personal hygiene items
and clothing to residents in need living in Northern Summit county.
